Covid-19 Safety Guidelines

I am continuing to practice face-to-face at Holistic Health Centre Woking, the safe continuation of your therapy is my priority and I ask all clients to observe the following, thanks for your co-operation;

• If you have any Covid-19 symptoms or if you have tested positive for Covid-19 please do not come to the centre, please Contact me and I will arrange a remote therapy session instead.

• You are welcome to wear a face covering on arrival if you wish.

• Please do not arrive early for your appointment as the waiting room is out of use to ensure social distancing.

• Please continue to maintain 2 metres social distancing inside the premises

 

Psychotherapy & Counselling in Woking

I am a Child & Adolescent Specialist Psychotherapist registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and certified member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). In 2003 I established my private practice at Holistic Health Centre in Woking town centre where I continue to work with children and young people, couples and families and with women and men of all ages. 

 

I work with clients individually, as couples and families and in groups. As well as Psychotherapy and Counselling for private clients I also provide Clinical Supervision and specialist training for Psychotherapists, Counsellors, Psychologists and other aligned health and social care professionals.

Psychotherapy and our unique landscapes

We are born into existing landscapes from which our identities emerge. Psychotherapy can help us to see and embrace ourselves and allow us to explore how we may carve out new territory within the landscape of our lives. When we connect within a nurturing and safe therapeutic relationship the exploration of our inter-dependence with others can lead to new insights and behaviour, which can be a restorative and reparative experience. ​

 

We are unique, I value the uniqueness we each bring into the world and I believe our uniqueness and individuality can transform our wider culture. I respect each person’s own life experience and views of the world, including religious or spiritual beliefs, sexuality, gender and ethnicity.

Alongside my busy private practice in Woking I work as a specialist consultant with voluntary agencies, schools and education, statutory services and local authorities, and with corporate clients throughout the UK.
